Mission Statement
The Americans Overseas Domestic Violence Crisis Center, AODVC, and the Sexual Assault Support & Help For Americans Abroad Program, SASHAA, works with abused Americans in foreign countries, both civilian and military populations, to provide domestic and sexual violence and child abuse advocacy, resources and tools so that they can navigate the complicated jurisdictional, legal & social international landscapes, to be able to live their lives free of abuse either in the foreign country or back in the United States.

The Americans Overseas Domestic Violence crisis Center, AODVC, and the Sexual Assault Support & Help for Americans Abroad program, SASHAA, were created to ensure Americans victimized in foreign countries have immediate access to services no matter where they are in the world. Our crisis office offers long-term case management, international safety planning, relocation and resettlement assistance, as well as referrals to attorneys and counselors in our network. Our case managers provide an informed, compassionate response, as well as assistance navigating advocacy, medical, law enforcement and legal options.
