Where children are the heart... and family is the soul. The primary goal of Little Flower Children's Services is to care for infants and children who have lost their most precious gift - their family.

Description

Founded in 1931 by Saint Peter Claver Church in Brooklyn with the support of hundreds of loyal parishioners who raised funds to purchase a farm in Wading River, NY on the rural north shore of Long Island. This farm became the site of a residence and school for homeless, inner-city children. Seventy years later, Little Flower continues to reach out with hope and help to 3,000 children of all races, ages and religions from New York City and Nassau and Suffolk Counties. Everyday our staff of 700 administers high quality human service programs, including a Family Foster Care, Adoption Services, Residential Treatment Center & School, Therapeutic Foster Boarding Homes, Mother/Baby Foster Care, Family Day Care as well as Intermediate Care Facilities and Foster Care for youngsters and adults who are developmentally disabled and multiple handicapped.

well, i use to be in the home before, when i was young. i use to be with father fagan nad sisteradmarie. in long island in wading river. so i know how things are n the work they do. i was put in a couple of homes. i lived 109 hubbard ave . with cluade n frank, the consulors their.
