Binky Patrol

I know I'm biased, but this is an EASY, no-ego organization. It is 100% volunteer and we welcome ANYONE who wants to help. We'll find some way to put your talent to use comforting children in need. Schools take on Binky Patrol as a campus-wide project having a day or an entire week to make blankets and they invite recipient organizations to speak and tell why the blankets made by the students are so important. Companies have been known to have a stack of cotton squares and a cup of Sharpies in their reception area. Visitors are invited to decorate squares with positive messages and pictures while they wait. After a stack is collected company volunteers sew them into blankets to be delivered to local area shelters. Scout troops love Binky Patrol because it can be done any time and without a schedule. Younger girls learn to sew and all ages can tie the no-sew fleece binkies - 1 layer only, please. It's easy. Community svc. hr. worthy, & comes from the heart! Join us!
