Mission Statement

San Francisco's Promise is dedicated to making productive, safe, and healthy futures accessible to at least 1,800 youth per year, by generating the commitments of local organizations and individuals around five essential resources -- An ongoing relationship with a caring adult; A healthy start; Safe places and structured activities during non-school hours; marketable skills through effective education and opportunities to give back through community service -- and connecting these Promises with youth in schools, after school programs, and national days of service.
