Mission Statement
The Animal Rescue and Foster Program is dedicated to helping abandoned puppies and kittens. ARFP provides temporary foster homes and medical care for homeless puppies and kittens and places them in permanent adoptive homes with responsible pet owners. ARFP requires and ensures that all of the animals adopted are spayed/neutered to help decrease the stray overpopulation problem.
Description
Puppies, Kittens, dogs and cats are taken into foster care through calls on our rescue line from people who have abandoned animals. When the animal enters ARFP it is vaccinated and sterilized if over four months of age. The animal is then placed into a foster home. Foster animals are promoted through adoption fairs at area businesses. All adopted animals are home delivered.
