Mission Statement

Friends of Saguaro National Park is a not-for-profit organization founded in late 1996 to assist the National Park Service with funding of special projects in this park. The federal-and-private partnership promotes improvements to protect environmental integrity, preserve the cultural history, and enhance enjoyment of the park by visitors and residents of Tucson, Arizona.

Description

Friends is primarily concerned with the raising of funds for selected projects recommended by the Superintendent and approved by the Friends Board of Directors.
