Mission Statement

The mission of Basset Hound Rescue of Southern California is to help unwanted and homeless Basset Hounds get appropriate veterinary care (including spaying/neutering) and permanent, loving homes.

Description

Basset Hound Rrescue of Southern California is made up entirely of volunteers. We rescue Basset Hounds from shelters and other sources, take them to veterinarians for treatment, then place them in temporary foster homes until permanent homes can be found. We have a by-monthly newsletter and social events throughout the year. Our events include breakfast with Bassets once a month, Basset Spring Games, and the HOWLelujah Chorus in the Doo Dah Parade.
