Mission Statement

We greatly support volunteers of any kind. Office support volunteers can serve in the department that best fits their level of skill and interest. Assignments may include receptionist duties, filing, collating, delivering materials, organizing supplies, or computer data entry. If you enjoy office work, are organized and pay attention to detail...than an office possition may be right for you. Volunteers that wish to have a great deal of people interaction are encouraged to apply for a position dealing with patients and their families. We welcome all enthusiastic people to volunteer anywhere they feel comfotable.

Description

Newport Hospital volunteer services is a very warm and friendly volunteer environment. Energetic and positive people are encouraged to apply. With an upbeat attitude volunteers feel rewarded for enhancing the quality of patient care, as well as providing support services for the professional staff. Volunteers receive the inner satisfaction which comes from helping others and the pride of accomplishment in a job well-done. Volunteers also have the opportunity to learn new skills, to develop new interests, to make friends, and grow in personal understanding.

I'm a people person,and I love to help anyone from children to adults with any mental or physical issues .I'm married with two beautiful girls I'm a hard working plumber with a great personality and easy to get along with I love to laugh,listen and I feel rewarded with just making someone smile and making them feel like they still have a chance at life,so hopefully I can be a part of that with all of you god bless and thank you.

I cannot give a opinion right now because I have not volunteered there yet but the volunteering opportunities do sound amazing!
