As an organization that changes lives every day, the Children’s Hospitals and Clinics of MN holds a special place in MN Pro Paintball owner and Challenge for Children’s (C4C) founder Matt Ames’ heart.
Matt was born with a congenital heart defect and is a living testament to the quality of care and dedication of the Children’s staff. He has been treated at Children’s Hospitals since birth and still gets his care there today.
One of Matt’s personal missions is to live life through meaningful experiences that create lasting memories. He founded C4C in 2009 as a way to bring people together to create memories of their own and give back to an organization that gives so much to others.
In 2013, Matt and the C4C team confirmed their long-term commitment to the cause with a pledge to donate $250,000 by 2017 to help build a new state-of-the-art Simulation Center at Minneapolis Children’s. With this commitment, C4C is now the largest third-party event benefiting the Children’s Hospitals and Clinics of Minnesota.
C4C is not only the largest third-party event benefiting Children’s; it is also the largest charity paintball game in the Midwest. Since inception we have grown from 150 attendees to an expected 800+ attendees this year.
In our efforts to continue to make meaningful contributions to Children’s, and to create even more memories, we need your support. Join us by getting involved today - Because battles aren’t won alone.
