The GFWC is a group of wonderful women who only want to make the world a better place, one woman at a time. The work each club does is different from one another yet they are all focused on the same goal. We help the community, individual, Canine Companions, libraries, cities, towns and States. There is something for everyone within the GFWC. If you enjoy reading and discussing what you've read, there are clubs for that. If you like to garden and plant flowers, there are clubs for that. Our signature project is to help stop the abuse of women. We have a house in Washington DC and we have been instrumental in helping get legislation passed to help women get equal pay, and recognition of the hard work women do every day. We are broke down by local clubs, County clubs, District clubs, State clubs and international clubs. We have conventions to take care of business and distribute awards for jobs well done. It is a great group of women and we encourage women of all ages to join us!
