Mission Statement

Habitat for Humanity of Missoula is a non-profit, ecumenical, Christian housing ministry dedicated to building decent homes that families can afford in our community and throughout the world.

Description

Habitat for Humanity of Missoula constructs simple, affordable homes with partner families living in substandard housing. Habitat partners with eligible familie s who complete a minimum of 500 Sweat Equity Hours and work alongside volunteers to build their houses. These families buy their homes with a no-interest mortgage. The mortgages help Habitat build more homes with future families.

This year we are building houses 56 and 57 in the Franklin to the Fort Neighborhood in Missoula. It takes 3,000 hours to complete one of these homes, and we are thankful for all of the volunteers who help make these homes happen!
