Description

Volunteers provide assistance by participating in various VITA program activities--directly preparing simple, basic federal tax returns, teaching taxpayers to prepare their own returns while assisting them, managing a VITA site, volunteering at a VITA site, or arranging publicity. Anyone who wants to help can become involved in VITA. In fact, many high school students, assisted by their teacher or interested parents, participate in VITA.
