We promote land conservation throughout Calvert County, Md. We provide environmentally sustainable public access to preserved properties for eduational, scientific, recreational and cultural purposes. We protect the natural and cultural resources of the Parkers Creek and Governors Run watersheds for the benefit of this and future generations.

Description

A local land trust dedicated to the preservation and protection of natural resources in Calvert County. The trust was established in 1986 to protect 436 acres of land along Scientists Cliffs Road in Port Republic, Maryland. Today, ACLT manages over 3,000 acres of preserved property. We have 15 miles of self-guided hiking trails, guided canoe trips on Parkers Creek and many other events to join in on throughout the year!
