Mission Statement

VolunteerMatch strengthens communities by making it easier for good people and good causes to connect.

VolunteerMatch is the Web's largest volunteer engagement network. We offer a variety of online services to support a community of nonprofit, volunteer and business leaders committed to civic engagement. Our popular service welcomes millions of visitors a year and has become the preferred internet recruiting tool for almost 100,000 nonprofit organizations.

VolunteerMatch is about relationships. We are a service that brings good people and good causes together. We believe that the health of our community can be measured by the relationships formed between volunteers and the nonprofits they serve. Our aim is to build services that overcome the barriers that keep volunteers and nonprofits from finding each other, working together, and developing strong relationships.

See our Live Map for recent activity.

If you think your skills and interests would help further our mission but you don't see the right opportunity for you now, feel free to get in touch and we can talk!

Administering vaccines to my community is a great cause. It lessens the chances of death substantially, for the most vulnerable. I feel that this is a great way to give back to my community during these unprecedented times.

Great cocept, poorly executed. We have posted several times with next to no responses. Tried upgrading to a payment plan and results were the same. DO NOT waste your money! I know you won't post this review, so I will be posting on other websites as well.

I would ABSOLUTELY recommend VolunteerMatch to anyone that is looking for an opportunity to help others! It is set up extremely well, is easy to use, and they continue to work with you until you find an organization that best meets your desires and requirements. And quickly too! I found the most incredible organization with in days and I have been volunteering there every week since last December. I love it! <3 Thank you VolunteerMatch!

The is the best organization because it has a list of volunteer sites in my city and near my home. I have volunteered for hospice and I'm looking forward to meeting the person that I will be helping. I would not have found my perfect volunteer match if I hadn't found your site. Keep up the good work and stay Blessed.

Our organization receives multiple inquiries from potential volunteers, and we have had some great people join us. As we are located in a very rural area, this is one of our best recruiting tools.

Our organization, Rainbow Rumpus, has received a wonderful board member and multiple volunteers through Volunteer Match. We are volunteer-run and have many virtual opportunities. I've tried working with other organizations and services and Volunteer Match is the best, bar none.
