Mission Statement

The primary mission of the Loft Writing Center Plus is to help students from all language backgrounds improve skills in English and foreign languages through individual and small-group tutoring in a positive environment. Services are available to all students at North Seattle Community College and include * one-on-one tutoring help in writing, reading, listening, and speaking * small-group tutoring * tutor-and computer-assisted self-study * a reading improvement center * a multimedia language laboratory.

Description

The Loft is a part of the Humanities Division at North Seattle Community College, but students from every department on campus seek our help. We strive to be open as many hours each week as possible, and we offer our services to students on a first come, first served basis. There is no charge to students.
