Mission Statement

The mission of Planned Parenthood Los Angeles (PPLA) is to provide easy, affordable access to a full range of quality reproductive health care and sexual health information through patient services, education and advocacy.

Description

Established in 1965 by a group of volunteers, PPLA offers professional, private reproductive health care for women at little or no cost. Services for men are also provided. Responsible sex education programs for young people provide honest, factual information so that they can make responsible choices. Also, we advocate for public policies that promote access to affordable reproductive health care. Volunteens continue to play an integral part in supporting the agency's goals for serving the community.
