Mission Statement

Capitol Region RSVP places people 55 and older into meaningful volunteer positions to enhance their lives and the community in which they serve.

Description

We are the Providence-area Senior Corps Retired and Senior Volunteer Program funded through the Corporation for National Service. Besides placing seniors into meaningful volunteer positions in other nonprofit agencies we have several projects of our own, we have acomputer literacy program for seniors, seniors reading to children, ESL, a friendly visitor program, and a mentoring program.
