Mission Statement

Bringing basic computer education to older adults.

Description

We conduct basic computer classes using IBM Compatible computers. There are now three SeniorNet Learning Centers in San Jose. In the Willows Senior Center (448-264-6400)at 2175 Lincoln Avenue in South Willow Glen just north of Curtner Avenue; in the Cypress Senior Center (408-244-1353) at 403 Cypress Avenue in Northwest San Jose just east of San Thomas Expressway and south of Stevens Creek; in the Almaden Community Center at 6445 Camden Avenue in the Almaden Valley (408-268-1133) just west of Almaden Expressway adjacent to the library. We teach Introduction to Computers, Word Processng, Spreadsheet and Database, Online with AOL, Quicken, Internet, Genealogy software, Graphics and Scanning and Using Windows 98.
