Mission Statement

Attitudes & Attire is a non-profit agency dedicated to promoting personal growth for women seeking self-sufficiency. Our program provides the tools that raise self-esteem, promote ethics and build confidence necessary to develop successful life skills.

Description

Our organization was created in 1996 and has served over 15,000 women to date. We strive to help women in transition recognize their own value and abilities and to use these gifts to make positive changes in their lives. Most of our clients are single mothers and the large majority of them have been physically, and/or emotionally abused. We provide a training workshop focused on self-esteem, interview skills, work ethics, and presenting a positive self image. Clients are then assisted by volunteers to choose workplace appropriate clothing from our boutique to begin or continue their job search. We are a referral agency that works with over 130 organizations such as domestic violence shelters, correctional facilities, transitional housing facilities, and job readiness agencies. Our clients are committed to bettering the lives of themselves and their children and we are eager to help them take these first vital steps towards self-sufficiency.

This is a beautiful way to give back by giving of yourself huaman being to human being showing love for one another. That is one of God's greatest commandments to love thy neighbor! I am a lover of God's people and anything that I can do to be of service as that is what God calls us to do I am here to do so! God Bless the person who created this opportunity!

This company assists many women in achieving their employment goals through interview coaching, wardrobe assistance for the "interview," and work ethics.
