Mission Statement

San Diego BRIGHT Families seeks to improve the health, self esteem, economic status, and growth potential of teens living in San Diego County by sharing information, options and opportunities with at-risk youth.

Description

We are a six-month mentoring program for at-risk youth. Mentors and mentees engage in monthly activities, do fun things together, and discuss a reproductive health curriculum that helps teens avoid unintended pregnancies and STDs. Committment is for 6 months, 5 hours per month.
