Mission Statement

As a Volunteer Firefighter and Ambulance Squad Organization, we provide a much needed service to all of the Communities in Pittsgrove Township, Salem County. We are finding it very difficult nowadays to enlist new members, we have many openings. We now offer a retirement package known as, "LOSAP." We also provide health care and health check-ups for our all of our members. We have both and night positions available.

Description

Serving the Fire District Number 1 of Pittsgrove Towship. We've been here since 1840. The Fire Company, Ambulance and Rescue Squad are 101% volunteer. The Fire House is located at 160 Almond Road, in the Community of Norma, NJ. Currently we have 38 fully trained personell, 3 Fire Trucks, 1 Water Tanker, 1 Ambulance, A level 7 Rescue vehicle. We responded, as of 2000, to over 500 calls. We protect the Community we live in and those that pass through.
