I was a completely scared for my life battered woman with a young child who had also been abused by the same man. The people in this orginazition provided me with guidance as well as the help to get my own legs to stand on to begin my life as a proud, head held high woman. For the first time in my life I was able to not walk with my head down scared. I owe this to the staff, but also the residence of this life changing program. I learned i was good enough, and i need not hide from life. i learned to embrace it. And although at times I was defiant and not ready for this process, I owe me and my son's safety and lives to this program. Without them, I do not even want to begin to think what would have come to the both of us. Thank You!!!
