Junior Achievement is the nation’s largest organization dedicated to giving young people the knowledge and skills they need to own their economic success, plan for their future, and make smart academic and economic choices.
Junior Achievement’s programs--in the core content areas of work readiness, entrepreneurship and financial literacy--ignite the spark in young people to experience and realize the opportunities and realities of work and life in the 21st century.
Make an exciting difference in the future of Houston area K-12 students by teaching them economic success skills! You can inspire young people to experience the realities and opportunities of the new global marketplace through Junior Achievement.
JA, the nonprofit leader in providing innovative financial literacy, work-readiness, and entrepreneurship education, needs volunteers to take career- and life-skills mentoring into local classrooms.
I have volunteered with this JA organization for nearly ten years on three different programs. Each was well supported with training and materials, and the staff were always present to help. I find volunteering to help out student youth very, very rewarding.
