Drive a Senior Northwest - a Faith in Action program

Volunteering with Faith in Action is both enjoyable and convenient! The system they have in place allows you to pick up rides that fit your schedule and allows you to spend more time volunteering when you have the time and less time when you don't. It's a great volunteer opportunity for those that really want to do something for others but don't feel like they can commit themselves for many hours at once. Faith in Action has multiple branches throughout Austin, which allows you to choose where you want to volunteer and means that the rides you're providing are typically located right in your area. Also, before you pick up a ride, you can see where you're going and where you're taking the client. The seniors you help are super grateful - you're helping them get to their medical appointments and the grocery store etc! Very great experience and highly recommended!!
