Description

We teach child abuse and domestic violence prevention programs "KIDS CAN" and "Families and Feelings." We work directly with children in local classrooms reinforcing the ideas that children should NEVER be hurt and that the rights of children should be protected. We help children realize that when a grown up hurts a child it is NEVER the childs fault, and that everyone has the right to be safe, strong, and free! In addition to our classroom programs, we have a direct intervention program known as PChIP (Portland Children's Intervention Program) This is an intensive, mobile intervention service for child witnesses of domestic violence and their mothers.
