Mission Statement

The Fairfax-Falls Church Community Services Board, Office of Mental Health Services mission is to assist and support adults with severe and persisitent mental illness and children and adolescents with severe emotional disturbances and children and adolescents at risk for developing severe emotional disturbances to achieve their fullest potential as valued and contributing memebers of their communities; to empower these persons to live self-directed and productive lives; to provide services for persons in acute psychiatric or emotional distress.

Description

The Office of Mental Health Services provides services to adults, children and youth and families through out the Fairfax-Falls Church area. Services include Emergency Services, Outpatient Programs, Day Treatment, Residential Treatment Programs, and Prevention Programs. Some of our specialized programs are designed for Domestic Violence, Grief, HIV Counseling as well as meeting special needs for multi-cultural and deaf consumers.
