To prevent child abuse and neglect by providing parents with the support, information and resources needed to raise children in a healthy environment. To provide early intervention and support to families who are experiencing crisis or stress. To increase the capacity of parents to be more responsible for the health and well being of their children.

Description

The Sacramento Crisis Nursery is an emergency shelter for children ages 6 years old and under. The Sacramento Crisis Nursery also houses the 24-Hour Parent Support Line which provides support, information and resources to parents in need. The Sacramento Crisis Nursery will open it's second location on Pasadena Avenue in June 2001
