501C3 Non-Profit with two major components. 1. Working with hospital social workers and health care professionals, we assist seriously ill children and their families, either through "wishes", such as Disney trips, or through purchase of equipment, adapted vehicles, home renovations to accomodate the child's needs, which are not covered by health insurances or Medicaid. 2. We collect and deliver used furniture, clothing and basic household goods to individual families and community organizations serving single parent families affected by homelessness and poverty. We also run food drives, and distribute food to inner city organizations. At holiday time, we run toy drives for the above-mentioned agencies.
