The Memphis Child Advocacy Center is a child-friendly welcoming place for children and families. The Center's mission is to serve children who are victims of sexual and physical abuse through prevention, education, and intervention...helping victims become children again. In 1999, the Memphis Child Advocacy Center served over 5,000 children and adults through case review, interview, counseling, and education programs. Services include: *Child abuse prevention education *Counseling and crisis intervention *Family greeter service *Support groups *Housing of Shelby County Child Protection Investigation Team sub-unit *Facilitation of the multi-disciplinary approach to intervention, investigation, prosecution, and treatment of abuse *Forensic Interviews *Forensic evaluations *Electronic case tracking across systems
