Mission Statement

For over 30 years River City Youth Foundation has not only been providing a safe and healthy place for the youth of Dove Springs, but has inspired them to succeed at school and make a positive difference in their own community through tutoring and mentoring programs. We also strive to impact whole families through community events. To learn more about the many amazing stories of lives impacted by RCYF, come check us out and be part of the change as a volunteer.

Description

Non profit youth center located inside a beautiful park in 78744 area of Austin. We provide services to at-risk youth/families. We offer our kids mentoring, tutoring, and educational opportunities along with nutritious hot suppers, computer training, outreach counseling, gang and drug prevention, exposure to college/career, and fun community beautification projects.

For parents, collaborated parent training groups are offered including TechComunidad! to empower parents with technology skills, and a fathering skills strengthening program.

Year-round programs are within walking distance of their home and school.
