The YMCA movement is something special. We are particularly relevant in today's society because we fill a void in the community. We put Christian principles into practice and we welcome and support children and families. We are for everyone: people of all ages, races, religions, incomes and abilities. The YMCA provides well-balanced activities for youth of all ages. We focus on the individual child's development and growth and strive to provide them with experiences, skills, knowledge, interactions, caring, positive role models and support to be successful in life. We focus on developing children from within, while offering fun, safe, educational, pro-social activities facilitated by caring well-trained staff. The YMCA is the largest provider of after-school programs for youth grades K-6 in Orange County.
