Mission Statement
Days End Farm Horse Rescue was established in 1989 to develop compassion and responsibility for horses through Intervention, Education and Outreach. "Protection for Horses...Education for People"
Description
Days End Farm Horse Rescue provides shelter, daily care and rehabilitation, foster care, and adoption for approximately 40-50 at any given time. Typically, these are horses that have been previously abused, neglected or unwanted and were impounded by animal control. We also provide many educational programs for adults and children that are geared to learning about the care and responsibility of horse ownership. We reach out to the community through presentations at schools, horse shows and through lectures at civic organizations and clubs. We provide Cruelty Investigation training to animal control and humane society officers. We provide "Large Animal Rescue Training" to fire departments, police, horse owners and the general public. We also provide local and national disaster services throughout the mid-atlantic region and much, much, more!! Check out our website at DaysEndFarm.org
