Mission Statement

Since 1964, KTEH has existed as a public television station located in Northern California committed to providing high quality on-air programming and support services in the community which educate, inform, entertain and culturally enrich our multicultural pre-school through adult audience, assisting them in making decisions on issues which affect their lives.

KTEH is Silicon Valley's public television station, Channel 54 and Channel 10 on cable systems, serving a 14 county area including the Monterey Peninsula. Service to its community is at the heart of KTEH's mission. The station's outreach campaigns combine programs, productions and activities to address community concerns such as illiteracy, drug abuse, women's healthcare, and the environment. In addition to our continued community outreach projects KTEH also hosts a number of events each year that enrich, improve and provide fun alternatives communities can enjoy.
