Mission Statement

To preserve the traditions and to promote the interests of the United States Marine Corps; To maintain true allegiance to American institutions; Historical; To hold sacred the history and memory of the men and women who have given their lives to the nation; To perpetuate the history of the United States Marine Corps and by fitting sets, to observe the anniversaries of historical occasions of particular interest to Marines; To create a bond of comradeship between the Auxiliary and the Marine Corps League, Inc.; To aid voluntarily and to render assistance to all Marines and former Marines as well as to their widows and orphans; To help decorate the graves of all deceased Marines whenever and wherever possible; To strive for the passage of legislation favorable to the Marine Corps League, Inc. and to the United States Marine Corps and its personnel; To always foster love of Honesty, Loyalty and Truth, and a reverence to Our God,Our Country, Our Family and Our Home.

Description

Our main focus is in helping Veterans and Children in whatever way possible. We are involved in MANY aspects of our communities and areas and serve in VA Clinics; Coordinate Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots in a 3 county area and plan to get involved in youth activities both school and social activities. Our membership eligibility is as follows, but we are ALWAYS in need of people willing to lend a hand to benefit Veterans and Children. MEMBERSHIP ELIGIBILITY: Women Marines, former women Marines, wives, widows, mothers, daughters, sisters, stepmothers,, step-daughters, grandmothers or granddaughters (not less than 16 years of age) of a Marine or of a former Marine eligible to belong to the Marine Corps League, Inc. AND Anyone not included in the above mentioned category and will be supportive of the Marine Corps, its ideals, principles and programs/projects.
