To provide responsive public service to the community through programs which ensure compliance with the Animal Control Code, promote public awareness of animal welfare, reduce animal overpopulation and protect public health and safety.

Description

We enforce the Animal Control Code, coordinate the rabies control program, coordinate disaster preparedness and recovery efforts for animals, investigate animal bites, operate the pet licensing program, promote the pet adoption program, operate our spay and nueter clinic, support pet education programs and administer kennel and pet dealer inspection programs
