Callahan County Nutrition Project

Description

We provide three senior citizen centers in Callahan County with: ON SITE MANAGERS- hired to coordinate functions that go on within the center making sure that the centers are run smoothly & affectively. CONGREGATE MEALS- hot nutritious meals meeting the 1/3 rda. TRANSPORTAION- provided to & from each center, out of town shopping & entertainment trips VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES- people can volunteer to help within the centers, deliver meals, fundraising events, public relations, and any other area of need. WE ALSO PROVIDE MEALS ON WHEELS (hot, nutritious meals meeting 1/3 rda, delivered by volunteers) THROUGHOUT CALLAHAN COUNTY.
