Mission Statement

To enhance the quality of life of indigent, incompentent adults in Cuyahoga County by providing trained, qualified volunteer or staff legal guardians to serve as concerned, caring advocates and surrogate decision makers when no less restrictive alternative to guardianship is available.

Description

The Volunteer Guardianship Program is one of twenty-three programs sponsored by Lutheran Metropolitan Ministry, Inc. (LMM) whose mission is to promote shalom (peace/well-being) and justice (right relationships) through Christian ministry of service and advocacy with those who are oppressed, forgotten and hurting. LMM's programs serve primarily At-Risk Youth, Ex-Offenders, the Frail Elderly, and Persons with Disabilities.
