Established in September 1997, the Lincoln County Literacy Council is an educational, non-profit organization dedicated to reducing illitercy in Lincoln and Northern Ortero Counties.

Description

Recognizing education to be the most powerful force against poverty, the Council provides volunteer tutors who work with individuals or small groups to help those who want to improve their ability to speak, read, and write in English.
