Description

Ownership: Founded in 1906, Oak Park Hospital is firmly rooted in both the history and the future of Oak Park and its surrounding communities. The hospital is sponsored by the Wheaton Franciscan Sisters and guided by their philosophy of human and community development. As a member of the Rush System for Health, Oak Park Hospital is linked to the resources of Rush-Presbyterian-St. Luke's Medical Center, a national leader in medical teaching and research. These alliances, along with the hospital's own advanced medical capabilities, create today's ideal community health care environment: a place where superior medical attention is easily accessible and where caring individual attention is always standard. Oak Park Hospital is a 216 bed facility with a Level II Emergency Department staffed with Board Certified physicians 24 hours per day. We offer a full array of ancillary services 24 hours a day including advanced medical imaging capabilities, X-Ray, CAT Scan, Nuclear Medicine, Laboratory, and MRI. Oak Park Hospital's staff includes 381 physicians in addition to its 515 full-time employees.
