Mission Statement

Cornell Cooperative Extension, Schenectady County engages individuals and communities, through education, to develop knowledge, skills, and leadership to improve their quality of life.

Description

Cornell Cooperative Extension is the NYS land-grant university extension system. Cornell Cooperative Extension, Schenectady County provides a variety of educational programs in Agriculture and Horticulture Awareness and Profitability, Nutrition and Health, Youth Life Skills, and Strenghtening Families. Our programs include WIC (Women Infants and Children), 4-H Youth Development, Master Gardeners, Expanded Food and Nutrition Education, and Even Start Family Literacy Program.
