Venice MainStreet is a liason to the City and Historical Preservation League to keep a partnership between the historical aspect and the economic growth and development of the downtown. We provide the information link for our residents and a northern tourist.We sponsor downtown events to help bring people on to our charming island. Venice MainStreet has helped to enhance the downtown with partnerships with City government to aquire restrooms and an information kiosk. The Smart Shop is part of Venice MainStreet and gives us a partner with the Board of Education.The Smart Shop is a shop run by children with merchandise made by school classes and sold under consignment for the class.
