Goodwill of North Florida, Inc. is a not for profit organization dedicated to providing job training and placement services for individuals in our community who face barriers to employment.
Goodwill receives donations of usable items that are in turn resold in Goodwill retail stores. The revenues from the sale of donated goods fund job training and placement programs. Goodwill has programs that assists individuals in all walks of life. The Options program helps individuals who are homeless overcome obstacles to obtain and maintain employment. This program operates in partnership with Jacksonville area homeless shelters. Goodwill's tradional program, Vocation Rehabilitation, helps individuals with disablilities obtain and maintain employment through job coaching services. Job Junction is Goodwill's walk-in employment center that posts updated job leads, lends use of phone/fax/copy/computer center, and career counseling services all free of charge. Job Junction lends its services to individuals as well as to area businesses.
