The Deer Valley Petroglyph Preserve connects past and present in its interpretation of the Hedgpeth Hills petroglyph site and serves as a gateway to other archaeological sites in Arizona.


Description

The Center for Archaeology and Society's Deer Valley Petroglyph Preserve features one of the largest concentrations f prehistoric petroglyphs in the Phoenix Valley. Its museum is the Center's primary public exhibition space. The Preserve connects past and present in its interpretation of this unique setting and serves as a gateway to other archaeological sites in Arizona.
