The purpose of this corporation and the nature of its business is:
1. To coordinate available community resources and to provide meaningful social and community services.
2. To provide a continuing program of public education and orientation.
3. To increase the knowledge of scope and function of member community agencies.
4. To provide means to facilitate referral, interaction and cooperative efforts of the agencies for the benefit of the community.





Description

The Cloud County Community Resources Council was organized in 1978 for the purpose of bringing helping agencies together and enhancing community services. The Community Resource Center and the Cloud County Alternative High School are housed in a common site, along with Health Department sites, early childhood programs, and juvenile services. By bringing these agencies together under one roof, staffing utilization is maximized and families have access to many services at a single site.
