Mission Statement

PAWS is a nonprofit organization dedicated to rescuing homeless animals and placing them in loving new homes, and decreasing the number of unwanted pets through our spay/neuter program.

Description

Since its inception in 1962 PAWS has rescued or provided other assistance such as medical care to over 25,000 animals. Volunteers are the lifeblood of our organization, and there are many opportunities to help. If you want to make a difference in the lives of homeless dogs and cats, please contact us. An orientation session is required for all new volunteers. All volunteers must be at least 18 years of age to work directly with the animals.

PLEASE NOTE: The PAWS volunteer program is temporarily on hold and will resume in late July, 2005.
