This is such a great organization and such a great cause!!! It was really eye opening to see the amount of work this organization does and it was very rewarding to help and be apart of it. I will definitely volunteer here again! The only reason I didn't give this organization a 5 star rating was because the young man who was supposed to be training us was a little negative and didn't really seem like he knew what he was doing or like he wanted to be there. I will be volunteering here again because they really do need volunteers, and a lot of help to prepare the ponytails to make wigs, but I might go on a different day.

I spent several hours inputting data on the people who donated their hair. It was easy, the staff gave clear and helpful information, and the people who volunteered were wonderful. It's a great organization and no matter what you do, you will be helping children in need.

Great cause! Sorting the hair was not difficult (hardest part was putting rubber bands on small amounts of hair). The morning was more crowded than the afternoon. I would volunteer here again.

My daughter and I volunteered here today for her school service project and what a rewarding experience this was! Tonya was very informative and their cause is without a doubt a blessing to many children. We were extremely amazed at just how much hair has been donated to Wigs 4 Kids and how the whole process works. Hair is donated from around the world to this organization and the volunteers help sort through these donations so they can be forwarded so the wigs can be made for children in need. We had no idea how long the process to make one wig took. They had a full house of volunteers, many of whom have volunteered here before. It was a very family friendly atmosphere. We would definitely recommend this opportunity to anyone who is looking to make a difference in a young child's life and will return to volunteer again in the future as they have so much donated hair that needs to be sorted through.

Great place to volunteer. Staff is very friendly knowledgeable and helpful. Knowing this will help many children was a great reward for me. I will be back. And they DO NOT CHARGE THESE FAMILIES for these Wigs. More volunteers the more Wigs that can be done for these children. Please give it a try.

I took a group of thirteen year olds for a couple of hours. What a great experience! Really makes you feel you are directly helping and the girls could work while chatting it up. Well run place and boy do they have a lot of ponytails they need help with!

It's a loving place. Very quaint but, also very educational. It feels really good to do something that makes a Childs LIFE! I will be going back

Volunteering at Wigs for Kids is certainly a worthwhile cause, but more than that, I found it to be a fascinating experience. Carol and Shivani were beyond helpful and fun to work with. Seeing the endless palette of hair, knowing that it comes from all over the world....just amazing. Definitely recommend!

I love volunteering at Wigs for Kids. The staff is so friendly & welcoming. The work is easy & very fulfilling. I have volunteered there many times & I would highly recommend it!

Great people, great vibe. I will definitely volunteer again. Andrew was instrumental in keeping things going and making the time spent organizing hair of all kinds interesting, upbeat and motivating. Such a great cause, I only wish there were more volunteers to help such a worthy cause.

I really enjoyed volunteering my time for something so rewarding. You don't realize the time that goes into something like this until you involve yourself. Shivani was very nice and helpful. I enjoyed getting to meet and talk to all the other volunteers as well. I look forward to helping out more often.

The people & volunteers are very nice, amazing & fun to work with. They're doing this for a good cause & they have my full support whenever they need me. I recommend everyone volunteer here, help out & have fun!

After taking the time to fill out the volunteer application, I got a call from someone to come in and meet to volunteer. I called her back 2-3 times and left messages showing excitement and interest in volunteering. NEVER heard back from them again. Not sure why but very dissappointing!
