Mission Statement

The Court Advocate Program strives to assign a volunteer advocate to every abused and neglected child entering the Columbiana County Juvenile Court.

Description

The CAP is part of the Columbiana County Juvenile Court. The program assigns volunteers to become an abused or neglected child's voice in court. Volunteers are the eyes and the ears of the court. They gather information regarding the life of the child and bring that information back the juvenile judge so she/he can make an informed decision as to the best interests of the child.
