Mission Statement

ProjectSERV promotes lifelong learning among youth and builds a stronger community by combining education and personal enrichment programs with direct servce leadership opportunities.

Description

ProjectSERV has 35 dedicated members who commit to 900 hours of community service (in one or two years) in exchange for an education award to pay for college or to pay off students loans. Members work in teams on projects that range from literacy to planning camps for children whose parents are addicted to drugs or alcohol to setting up service clubs in schools. Our goals focus on education, at-risk youth and increasing volunteerism. We also coordinate several group projects during each year that meet various community needs.
