Mission Statement

The Washington Project establishes a coalition of Washington DC area churches and community organizations that promote entrepreneurship for people who lack access to resources to attain their dreams for self-sufficiency.

Description

The Washington Project offers a two-part program of business development services. The Entrepreneurial Study Program is a 12-week course on how to write a business plan. Graduates may then enroll in the Micro Business Laboratory, in which they receive ongoing technical assistance to develop their businesses. Within the Lab, access is provided to savings and small loan programs.
