Mission Statement

The mission of Hollywood CPR is two-fold: first, to offer highly motivated and enterprising at risk youth between the ages of 15 and 21 (our applicants must first be recommended by their teachers, YMCA/YWCA, Salvation Army or Boys or Girls Club counselors, or clerics) a program of the specialized trade skills and work habits necessary to work in the entertainment industry's art departments, taught by knowledgeable and experienced industry professionals; and second, to exemplify the qualities of individual independence and industriousness that will be emphasized to our students by developing our own non-profit prop house to generate the necessary resources to sustain these educational programs totally from within. This is accomplished by soliciting and collecting discarded sets, props, furniture and materials as tax-deductible donations from various production companies, studios, and other businesses, and recycling them in our facility into rentable, income-producing resources.

Description

Hollywood Cinema Production Resources (Hollywood CPR) is non profit 501 (c) (3) organization providing entertainment industry related trade skills to specially motivated, disadvantaged young adults under the umbrella of a fully functioning, professionally run, non-profit prop house.
